Hey guys, i was just thinking. instead of drilling the three or so holes in a new fender to place the emblem, can the pegs on the back be ground down and stuck to the fender with automotive double sided tape? i know that on my friends camaro, he has the rear spoiler lip installed with the same tape and it doesnt budge.
thanks for any thoughts on the matter

Steve, yeah man, you can stick on some double sided sticky EMBLEM tape for emblems and letters. But I would have a hard time convincing myself to use the tape on anything large such as a spoiler.

At the moment with my car in the body shop, I am having all trim and emblem holes welded up for a nice slick look. I have also thought about this same thing....just in case I changed my mind.

It think comes on the RS package. I know what you are talking about. Yeah, it's not really that big of a piece.

My 'fins' behind the door, trunk/fender badges,,,thu do have holes and pins are stuck on with silcone...some poled into the holes, wiped onto the pins and a cuople small drops on the back...pushed into place and a broom leaned against them over night.
Havnt lost a badge in over 25 yrs as a daily driver.
No pins..I would use 3 or 4 small spots of windscreen ureathane sealer.

I've cut the pegs off and used RTV. Works great.
