I have a 70 camaro that I am about to paint and have a question, Should I paint the car with the base color first and then put the strips on or should I paint the strips first. The car in a darker color than the strips.

I am not sure is the stencil kit tape only, I think it would set the stripe backwards,
cause if you lay black down tape for silver car stencil will be backwards??

Yes the kit(Z-28 stripes) came with the cuvrves for the cowl are and the back glass area already on a sheet with notches in it for alignment and it also has a roll of tape with it, to finish down the hood and the trunk.
