Hello I am Tiger,I recently bought a 69 Black Cherry 468,car is really pretty clean except for a few very small spots of rust. And the previous owner but a fuel cell in a perfect trunk and really butchered it. Well the 468 is being replaced.Along with a few other things.The build is slow but its going forward. Now I found another 69 Camaro and I have it,I drive it every day and runs and drives pretty darn good, heres the problem I really havent ever owned a car my whole life I build Jeeps and drive 1ton 4x4 Dodges! How do I stop this from going any futher? I do not have a big enough garage,the ole lady is really looking like shes ready to butcher a calf but I think she has me in mind!IS there any end? Will this obsession slowly go away and I will be a normal guy with a nice car? I went to the car show and there were hot babes evrywhere all I could see were CARS!

Hey Mat - The Howe extral tall upper ball joints aren't that expensive, I think around $80/ea. They are correctly engineered with the correct taper, and considering all, not such a bad deal. Only prob I can tell is that they don't work terribly well with the stock upper a-arm, as it doesn't allow for enough +caster. Still, a better perf improvement compared to the G-mod. Anyway, just my finding, and I'm as cheap a bastard as you'll find. Even if you could find a taller upper that works and fits, it won't likely be as tall as the Howe, and you'll be leaving something on the table.
