Hey Guys,
I think I'm getting close on my 69' Pro Street car, but I have a question about the rearend.
I'm running a ladder bar set-up with a ford 9". From reading on here, my wheelbase should be at 108 inches, measured from center to center.
After I establish ride height, what should the pinion angle be set at?
The car will be more of a street driver than a racer, if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance!

I would try 2* down first than try other angle to see what you like best

I was thinking 1 or 2* down, so that backs up what I was thinking, just wanted to check with the folks in the know...thanks for the reply!

2-3 deg is the norm for a ladder bar car

Also dont get real picky on the 108" wheelbase. I found out on my hot rod the left rear quarter was installed a little off so I just had to try to center the wheel in the wheel well side to side. so it is not exactly 108 but it is straight.

OK, thanks. My car came from Texas, but it was a coast car...very solid, but rusted around the wheel wells.(sand/saltwater) Right now the openings are pretty rough, so I should be able to get fairly close to 108", then stretch the wheel wells accordingly.
I'll try to get some pics up soon. It's nowhere near as nice (yet) as some of the other members cars on here, but it does have the "coolness factor" of a big tire car.
