I'm working on a 69 Camaro interior for a customer. The front seat foam is completely ruined and needs replacing. Who makes the most correct seat foam for First gens? He wants it to fit and feel the same as they did in 1969 or as close as possible. Any suggestions? I would really like to stay away from PUI. Thanks, Jason

I purchased mine from Classic Industries.

I bought mine from Rick's. If I remember right you have to take the back off and see if yours has wire in it or not and order accordingly.

Mine came from Ricks and it said something to the effect of "Mustangs blah blah" on the package.
I was sort of shocked and thought they sent me f*rd parts!!
It fit fine.
Definitely wanna check to make sure you get the correct upper buns because there was no rhyme or reason which seats had the springs ON the frame and which had them IN the buns.

Mine cam from Rick's. I don't know the manufacturer, but they had outlines of a cactus on the back. Like a dummy, I ordered the ones without the springs, because they said "most" came without springs. Then, a year or so later, I actually looked at my original seats and discovered that they had integral springs. Darn! I don't know why, but I opened the box of replacement buns, and discovered that although the box was tagged for no spring buns, it contained the ones with springs. Probably the only time in the project (or my entire life, for that matter) that an error worked out in my favor!

I always use American Cushion Industies foam... They fit great and carry lifetime warranty.
