Looked around in the old forums, but didn't see this discussed. Which heater cable goes to which lever? The assembly was apart when I bought the car. Thanks much.

Cable hookup on the heater box. Defroster cable goes on the drivers side, heat/vent cable goes on the pass side, the mixing cable goes in the middle of the box.

All three cables have to go in behind the defroster duct from the drivers side. They will line up where they are suppose to go if they are routed right. They can also be hooked up after the heater box is in place. Its kind of a pain but it can be done. I did it.

Rich PM me with your e-mail address and I will send you a couple of pages from my Assemble Manual about the heater control.

Be vigilant, as the blend cable and the Air/fan cable can get reversed at the control. Mine was that way when I got the car and I could only get full heat at full blower. The blend lever in the middle, actually moved the main door. Thanks to JimM for the tip on the reversal. The AIM is the best way to go.

Hopefully, you can find the special cable clips to attach the cable ends to the door rods sticking out, about an inch long with a circle on one end and a U-shaped cup to snap over the cable casing.
