on a 69 ss hood do the hood ornament rubber drains go to the front or rear of the ornament?check out page 301 of the assembly manual if you dont know what i am talking about.appears to be the front but need to know for sure.thanks

I noticed the hood drains in the manual ... I also believe I saw a rubber drain weep gasket, but I couldn't find ones to order when I went to install my new repo hood ornaments ... Then, I read somewhere, that the 1968 ornaments possibly did not have the drain holes and it was a later design ... Regardless, I do believe I installed my holes forward, as that would be the low point when the car would be sitting still ... Factually, I do not know ... Intuition, as mentioned ...
