anyone know if i can use the rear disk roters off of a corvette to do the conversion? i have the calapers, pads and weld on brackets. just trying to not have to buy the hats and aftermarket roters

Also, what brackets do you have and who made them? That should tell you what calipers/rotors you can use. I had a 68 Camaro that had some bolt on brackets that used full size front rotors on the rear but in order to retain the parking brake it would have needed the caliper from a late 70's early 80's Cadillac that had the parking brake built in. ugot86d Mar 29th, 09, 09:42 PM mine is a mid 70s camaro and i do not need a parking break due to this being a race car the brackets are the pro tec ones you can buy in daymotorsports. so with them being weld on i can put them where ever they need to be to line up with the roter ( provibing wheel clearence) i was told by another racer that rear corvette roters will work with stock front calapers. i hate to buy the roters without knowing they will work |
