I cant seem to find the tourque specs of the two end bolts on the top stock control arms in the AIM. They are the two smaller 1/2" bolts with the large washers capping the bushings. The pic is vague and maybe its indirectly pointing to multiple bolts saying 45- 55 lbs. Is that correct? Any help would be appreciated..
Thanks

If i remember correctly, those are fine thread 5/16 bolts. If this is correct i would not go more than 25 ft/lb's on the torque.

My manual for 68 shows two torque specs for the UCA's. Attaching nuts @ 50 ft and collar bolts @ 45 ft. I believe we are talking about the collar bolts here.

Matt. Aren't those bolt 5/16? 45 lbs on a 5/16 bolt seems like alot?

I just measured the bolts as I have my old/original UCA on a shelf since I got Global West arms in the car now. My bolts are 3/8.

That would explain the 45 lb torque spec. I though for some reason that they were 5/16 bolts.
