Hello,
what's the best way to disconnect this old a/c hose? cut it off or does it twist/slide it off the fitting? see pic -AC hose connecting to front of radiator.
thanks,
Steve

Looks like it has a crimp connector. The crimp can be cut off and then the hose can slide off the nipple.

69 condenser hoses attach to the condenser with two flare fittings, both of which are on the passenger side of the car. You shouldn't have to cut anything to get them apart.

Mark - its dealer installed air. Compressor on driver side with under dash control/fan unit. All hose fittings to condensor and rad are crimp.

Take a Dremel tool and carefully cut the crimp sleeve long ways so you can pry it apart. Then you should be able to twist the hose off.

Cut the hose.
Fooling around trying to mess with it while buried in there is ludicrous, The hose is OLD anyway, and cheap to replace.
Its a Push-on barb fitting the hose is hose clamped in place. The barbs make it tough to remove. A Box knife will slit the hose easily once you get it out in the open to work on.
