I have been testing dash top paint looking for a good one. I found Kyron Ultra-flat black Camo paint and did the dash top today. 2 coats, looks great! More flat then flat and no gloss!

Thanks, We have that same Paint in the BX here. I was thinking about buying that Paint, especially after the paint I have on it now just flaked on me, partly because the dash wobbled a little when I did a test fitment.
Anyway, how did you fasten the dash down? That is a dash top replacement panel right? I dont see any spot welds.

The Camo comes in green/brown too :D
John, the dash panel was mostly glued with panel epoxy and mig-ed around the inside and sides.

Kevin, I just bonded my upper panel yesterday. What did you use? I used Lord Fusor and it was not fully cured after 6 hours because of the tempature. Did you spray that flat black right over the e-coat on the dash top or did you prime first? Looks great..

What Co. did you buy the panel epoxy from? I have read a few posts regarding it. Do you know if it can be used over a material such as PORE 15 or similar rust encapsulator?

My freind did the body and paint, not sure what he used. I did borrow the panel adhesive for some other work and my garage was below 50 deg and did not cure well (failed really after 24 plus hours cure). I think you have to be above 70 deg. He epoxy primed the dash first and I painted over that.

I'm getting ready to paint my dash with the camo paint just wondering how has it held up and does it scratch? Did you sand between coats what did you sand it with?
THANKS
