I am considering a offenhauser cross ram intake for my 1969 z/28.
Can i use the linkage, carbs, throttle bracket, air cleaner,etc.. for original cross ram on the Offenhauser.
I want factory look, i would be erasing the Offenhauser and 360 logo.
Might not be 100% correct appearing but want it to be very close to original.
thanks

The short answer is
The top plate holes are very close in locations to the OEM-GM plate.
IIRC - the throttle bracket bolts to two of the rear plate holes and the spacing is the same on the Offy unit.
The carb. mounts, their spacing and the other measurements for the OFFY are nearly the same as OEM - so they will mount up the same.
It is common to see the Offy units with all the markings removed.
99%(+) will never notice the difference in the manifolds anyway, so do what you want to make it look as close to the OEM set-up as you want and enjoy - if that can be said of running a very fickle intake system designed for mainly for a very narrow RPM range use ;)
Purchase "Camaro - the Untold Secrets" (Wayne Guinn - ISBN#187877218X ) if you don't already have it.
It will give you the information and pictures needed to assemble the stuff to duplicate a system.

Thanks for great info,
Now more questions, who sells the Offy intake, i did a google search and found a place called Offy and they say there is 18 month wait ....
What is a good way to remove markings, i was thinking sanding down with dremel and sandblasting with a coarse abrasive,
Any better ideas as not leave any marks and recreate original finish.

Have you tried PAW - https://secure.pawengineparts.com/shoppingcart/showpage.cfm?catid=103
I find they usually have stuff I have to wait for from others...
It's usually just the base that's had to come by, so check with them.
I have milled the markings down and then refinished with a beed blaster to blend - you could check with a local machine shop and a metal plating/refinishing shop near you to get quotes.
I've never tried doing that with a Dremel, might take a while...
PS: I saw a manifold (think it was being sold as a "Z28" type  ) at a swap meet someone was trying to pawn-off as a original 'Winters' casting (IIRC, it was an old Edel. or Weiand intake) that they had put one of those plastic glass-retainer 'stars' on and then spray painted the whole intake silver - l:) my 'A' off as we walked away :D
But you could try that for the Winter's mark - I need a good laugh again :D

i wouldnt go as far as faking the Winters logo, but i remember a t.v. show that replaced the winters logo on a zl1 block after someone add sanded down the block and polished.
What they did was they cut the winters logo from another aluminium part which add the winters logo (old intake, piston, etc) and cut the block where logo once was and inserted and rewelded the logo on the zl1 block.
I figure it could be done on a Offy to be even more convincing

I think I agree with you Fred... reckon we should both go get plastic surgery to look like Tom Cruise? *L* and tell everyone 'WE are the real thing'?? *L*
