I recently installed a quarter window regulator in my 68. Install went smooth, but my problem is the original handle does not go on all the way to enable the clip to be installed. What gives. Do I need to order a reproduction handle to go on the reproduction regulator?

Do you have a deluxe interior? I think that the regulators are longer on a deluxe interior. Just a thought.

I have a deluxe interior, But the regulator was for a deluxe or standard. The crank seems to not match the shaft of the regulator. The length of the shaft on the new regulator is the same as the old one. I've ordered a reproduction deluxe crank for CI. Hopefully it will fit.

I received my reproduction window crank last night. Lo& behold it fit the reproduction regulator. Seems to me that CI should advise you of that when you order their regulator :mad:
