I would put a Hyd roller in it.
You need more cam IMO.
Have UDHarold set you up with something like a 288 adv 234@.050 .530 lift single pattern.
108 sep if you don`t mind the "temperment"

If you want a Hyd F/T his 296 adv 239@.050 .507 lift on whatever sep you want would work very well.
Put Rhoads lifters on it with 1.6 rockers
Both of these cams run well in a 406 motor graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I am running 8.44 DCR on 93 pump gas and its fine, yours should be too if you keep the quench tight. Harolds cams will "act" a little bigger than my Comp does anyway so in reality either my DCR is a little higher than the calculated 8.44:1 or yours would be a little lower. My point is that you should be OK on 93 octane with your compression ratio . . . hope that makes sense.

Sounds like you already made your mind up on the brand so why not just talk to Harold on which grind?

ps. now Big Red, now why on God's green earth would he want a hydraulic roller? ;)

So he could stick some solid roller lifters on it like Big Red graemlins/thumbsup.gif
