I'm putting new lines on my 69 today and was wondering the two fitting sizes on the gearbox and what line goes where?I know one fitting is bigger than the other so which goes to the pump and which goes to the resivoir.:confused:

The small 5/8 male port is for the return to the pump. This port is nearest the input shaft and only low pressure oil is in this section of the gear. The larger (11/16) port is nearest the aluminum cover. It is the high pressure port that connects to the pump discharge.
