View Full Version : Entropy Radiator ???'s
Rookobird Apr 3rd, 09, 06:51 AM Has anyone got their Entropy system installed and running? How is it working?
Trying to get some actual "functioning" feedback before I buy one of these units.
They look very good, do they work as good as they look?
Thanks in advance,
John

Rookobird Apr 8th, 09, 08:23 AM Anyone?
68Holdon Apr 9th, 09, 09:03 AM I have mine installed and it looks and works awesome. It was a easy direct bolt in. Mine has the built in shroud with the dual electric fans, I used there wiring harness and it worked great. I would highly recomend them to anybody. I know there are a lot of members who have posted in the past that they are running this units and are also very satisfied with them.
Rookobird Apr 11th, 09, 08:55 AM Thanks Robert, that's what I was looking for! Did you have to get any tech help from them? There doesn't seem to be any phone #'s available for Entropy.
Thanks,
John

I also considered Entropy a while ago, but If you are looking for a good radiator from a good company, try GP Superstore / Prodigy customs. I bought their "double pass" for my '69. It was probably a bit more expensive, but I really didn't want to skimp on the cooling system. Their customer service is excellent (I've also bought other things from them in the past)! Here is a link to an old forum post explaining their radiator: http://www.gpsuperstore.com/forum/showthread.php?t=510&page=1&pp=10
68Holdon Apr 11th, 09, 03:47 PM I did not need any tech asstiance from them. Everything was a direct bolt in and the harness came with a wiring diagram.
69_OMEN_CAMARO Apr 12th, 09, 12:25 AM +1 for entropy radiators, its probably the #1 thing i still get complemented on the most, is looks and works great, get the wiring harness as well to save u alot of time, keeps my BBC and TH400 full manual valve body really really cool, engine hasnt seen more than 190* and the tranny hasnt seen more than 160*, one thing that sucks is the trigger switch which supposed to turn on the fans at 180*, it never worked, so on my big first start up where i needed it most, i had to manually ground the trigger wires to turn on the fans, now i have the trigger wires routed to inside on a rocker switch by the light switch, as soon as my temp goes up past 185* i turn on the fans and in minutes its back down to 160* works good and fast, i emailed the seller about the trigger switch and he admitted they were crappy, said he was gonna send me another for free but, never got it...

These are sold on ebay. I am also one of the satisfied customers. Cools great, easy to install and I too bought their wiring harness. Did not need any tech support.
stroud6 Apr 18th, 09, 07:43 AM I use the entropy with dual fans and their wire harness. Love it. Looks great and works great. Have dealt with customer service once due to a bad relay. Resolved problem quickly. Would highly recomend. I also can agree with it still gets complements and guys want to buy it. mark
68bigblockSS Apr 21st, 09, 11:11 AM i ran the big block radiator without their fans and it works great! i had to drill 1 hole in the flange for mounting purposes. other than that i just wired up my own fans and it has made a huge difference.
zman1969 Apr 29th, 09, 02:12 PM I have a custom one of theirs for a ls1 for my car -not installed yet looking at either using a Taurus 3.8L or the Lincoln MKVIII they both fit closely but I have to fab some kind of mounts I'd like them to look stock - also need to figure wiring out as they need a 75A relay. I have to say I wasnt too impressed when I pulled it from the box - not the best looking welds but if they dont leak I'll be fine.
PutzBeer May 5th, 09, 06:23 PM I installed the radiator and it seems to work great, but I lost the wiring harness instructions. Can anyone ppost them or send them to me?
tgifford5 May 6th, 09, 06:25 PM Putz, I pm'd you. I found my instructions. Send me your address and I will mail you a copy.
