Check out nastyz28.com and scroll down to the bottom of the opening page. They have a wiring diagram for a 70 camaro. Hope this helps.

thx i just need to know on a stock steering column does the wire just run up through it (seems like it would get twisted) or is there a hub of some kind?

If I am not mistaken the wire for the horn is part of the harness that runs to the turn signal switch. The button that operates the horn is also mouted in the turn signal switch.

There's a plastic ring/hub with a copper face on one side that sits under the steering wheel. When you push the horn it pushes a spring loaded plunger through a hole in the steering wheel hub and makes contact with the copper ring. I want to say the horn wire is green, but don't hold me to that. I'm gettin' old. ;)

Not sure if this will help you or not. There's 3 pages of info.

All the wires for the horn, turn signals, emerg. flasher etc. are in one harness. The one that isn't attached to the turn signal assy. should be the horn wire. ;) Someone may have cut it and stuffed it down in the column.
