I am interested in purchasing a 1968 camaro. However, I do not want a car that is all original because I want to drive it often and dont want to worry about reliability problems. Are there places to purchase "replica" 1968 camaros that have all the exact same parts as a real 1968 camaro, just built recently and with newly manufactured parts.

With the new first gen Camaro 'kits' now becoming available, yes in theory a first gen can be built with all new parts. But be prepared for a shock, that is a very expensive proposition-- especially considering labor, since it would be a one-of-a-kind and have hundreds of hours of labor in it. Do you have $40-$50K or more to spend on a replica car?

I do not want to biuld the car myself or pay 40 to 50k. I am just looking for a good 1968 camaro that can be a daily driver. I dont want an original because those parts are 40 years old. What options do I have?

I remember C.A.R.S. was offering a 1969 vert but can't find anything on them selling them anymore. Here is a link to a completed 1969 coupe for sale.

Check your local Classic car trader, or Craigslist...
There are plenty of cars that have virtually all new or rebuilt parts for good prices right now..
Most of them are priced below what it would cost you to build one..
My car for example has a brand new engine from GM, rebuilt transmission,All new suspension, brakes, etc.. It is as close to a new 40 year car as you can get and would be a very reliable daily driver...The only thing I would change if it were a daily driver would be to put an Overdrive Trans. in it for increased gas mileage and less noise..
If I were to sell mine (I am not) I could most likely get only $18,000 - $20,000 for it even though I have over $25.000 in initial purchase of the car , paint, and parts..
