Ok, ive got a 89 iroc z28..305 Tuned port injection car..ive got a new 305 in it..my old on is the one im rebuilding..i spun a bearing in it so its out just need to know if there is anything lse to do to get it running good..with 300HP+..

heres what i plan on doing..

converting it to carbuerator..
take the 4LB injectors out..move to 8LB injectors..
i know on a 305 .20 over is a 350 prolly boar it .30 over to a 355 center bolt main block..

drop the stock cam in it..and put a edlebrock 507-523 cam in it...(any suggestions)?

long tube headers..with eldebrock intake manifold kit..
bigger Y-pipe..

40 series flowmasters one chamber..

im doing this bcuz ive got a 03 cobra thats got about 30 LBS of boost in it..and its pushin about 425HP give or take

im only 18 so id like to here what the pros got to say about this

thanks

well id prolly go with the 8lb injectors on the carb conversion then. I think to reliably get the 300 plus horsepower you will have to change the flux capasitor locted under the rear seat. it will be easy to get to while you are changing over to flowmaster. its great to see the torch being passed to the young here and i hope your car exceeds your dreams. mark

no dumbass..

Sounds like someone needs an attitude adjustment. BTW, a 0.020" over 305 is NOT a 350
