Claus, depending on the year, it's either a 283/270 (1957 passenger car), 283/230 (1958 through 1961 passenger car), 327/300 (1965 Chevelle) or a 327/275 (1966 and 1967 Chevelle).

Yours was assembled on December 3rd at the Tonawanda, New York engine plant. What's the casting number on the block?

Casting number is 3782870, so seems like a 327 from a Chevelle, correct?

Yep. 1965 327/300 from a Chevelle. Nice engine. I had one 30 some odd years ago and it ran great.
