Every time I check the coolant level in my radiator its about 2 inches bolow the filler opening. I will fill it to the top and in a couple of days its low again. Is this normal?

Unless you have a functioning coolant recovery system you need that 2" for fluid expansion when the coolant heats up under pressure.

Yeah. When you fill it to the top, it will drain some out the overflow tube once the engine gets hot.
This is normal.
