I did a search n this forum but have no answer. I took out my dash gauge cluster (MPH/Gas). Took it apart, cleaned it up. i did pop the needle off the gas gauge but no issue. I put it back together and the gauge is beyond empty. I pluged it in, I do not recall any wires going to the gas side just the two screw studs with the plastic circuit board thing.

i am not real good at this stuff. Basically tried to put back exactyl as i found it. Is there a ground i am missing? Any tips.

Thanks

your gas gauge is the brown wire in the main plug. the plug has numbers on it and the gas gauge wire is #1 . it is grounded through the thick "cable" and is grounded with you screw the whole dash back in. hope this helps

One way to check from the tank to the gauge is, in the trunk, find the wire that goes to the sending unit and ground it. If your gauge moves you know you are good from the trunk forward.
