Went to the car show on saturday (see pics) had a great day lots of good comments on new shoes on Z10, got up this morning to go back to show (it is about 45 minutes from home) crusin along back country road listing to the radio (got it crank up) got behind a couple of slow moving cars & had a HRF (heavy right foot) attack drop into 3rd to go around just as I passed the second car I heard a loud pop & then it sounded like the tranny was full of marbles.Limp on in to a little store call my buddy to bring thr truck & trailer. Tore it down the tranny is toast, needless to say got a new TKO 600 coming (wanted one of those anyway).Boy am I in the dog house wife has not cool of yet from the new shoes:mad:. One good thing I sold my old rims & tire at the show.:DLife in the fast lane

Also decided to put in new clutch/pressure plate & throw out bearing & resurface flywheel.Ought to be good to go for awhile.Hey Skeeter when parts come in come on over for a wrenching party.I have some cold one in the frigs.:thumbsup:

I do not know about a snow ball but I got prices on everything today & it feels like a avalanche OUCH.:wacko:

Harv don't feel bad because my 4-speed is not to far behind yours. With this new motor even thou im not betting the gear box up and just granny shifting it, i can tell the torque is gonna kill it sooner or later.
