No. The hood and deck lid stripes were part of RPO Z28, and were not available as a standalone option. Likewise the RPO D90 "hockey stick" stripes were part of the SS package RPO Z27, although the D90 stripes could be ordered as an option on almost any other car (except Z28, of course).

The Pace Car in SS 350 form had the stripes as part of its package.

Yeah, that's right. It's actually all Z11 and Z10 cars had the "rally" stripes. I always forget about the pacers and Z10 cars. :)

How can you forget about them when they are two of the best looking 69's ever made? ;) I might be a little biased though. :D

It's just too easy too forget all 69s when there are so many better looking 67s and 68s out there :beers: :D

Did they make Camaros before 69? They must have been early prototypes. can't beleive it took GM 2 years to get the design correct.:D

You know, I thought about specifically mentioning you in my last reply; glad you caught it and twisted my tail anyway. Some things never change... :)

At least your cars are shiny. Last time I put up a pic of mine, somebody commented on the three or four colors of primer. If I could decide the car doesn't terrify me to drive, now would be a good time to paint the darn thing.

I still think you should have one of each. Then you do not have to worry about which is best.

I thought they stopped making real Camaros when they went with the "wing window delete" option.....

That is what I was thinking. I thought the only made camaros one year.
