I've decided to put L and R fenders before I paint the car- who makes the best fit for the best price?

They are mostly made by the same company just re boxed and sold under different names. You can try Hearbeat City but they are pricey. Look for NOS if possible. Do a search on Golden Legion. If you have your originals you may want to think about repairing them if possible. I dont mean with bondo. I tried 4 pass fenders before I got one that was good. The drivers was good... well good as good gets, the 1st time around. Its a crap shoot.

The aftermarket fenders are pretty good, B+. Though, I've never liked the way they fit just under the windshield. They come up about 3/16" short.

I got Goodmark ones and they were - Okay....... Definitely not stock fit but it cost me half of the price of the $750 fenders from the places that claim original GM fenders...
