I was looking at the cowl tag and did not see a day/month and would like to know where else I can check for that info?

The tag will have a code like 05C or 12B that is the month and week identifier. You can't really break it down to the day it was built, but you might be able to extrapolate the day based on the sequence number.

You can figure out the day (theoretically) if you have a Van Nuys car.

.......11D is the number I see..

......translates to the 4th week in November.VIN will determine whether it's November '68 or November '69.Check out the CRG link above for everthing you want/need to know about VIN's and Build Dates.

Nov 68.
The 327 means it is an early car. And 11A was the last week in Nov 69.
