I have a 68 Camaro with power drum brakes and am looking to put the original style rally rims back on it. That would be the 14x6 rally style. My question is, will an XB coded 14x6 work on a camaro? My searching indicates the XB code is originally from a Chevelle. I just want to make sure the bolt pattern and such will work before I buy these. Also, any comments on the 14x6 size rim you have(positive or negative), would be appreciated. I am thinking this is what I want, for original appearance, but wanted some input as well. Thanks, Matt

I'm putting 14 x 6 XG's on my 1968 Camaro with drum brakes. XB's should be okay, just a little different offset.
Are you putting red walls on?

The rims I am looking at buying come with Goodyear Eagle 225/70/14's, so that is what I will have. When they need replacing I will likely go with TA's. Aren't the red walls pretty spendy and bias ply? I am not all up on that yet, but trying to be. Are you pretty sure these would work or am I better off waiting for a set of XG's? The other thing is what I have currently on the back is a deeper rim that has a much fatter tire than the front(which I don't like) and it appears the rear is raised some, but I haven't looked close enough to see if there is some lift in there or an optical allusion. I just don't want the 14x6's to look dinky back there.

I'm pretty sure they will fit without any problems. 14 x 6 isn't a lot of rubber out back, but that's what most (all?) of them came with in 68.
The Red's aren't cheap, that's for sure!!!
