I received an email from a friend who is needing an appraisal conducted on a musclecar (make and model not yet identified to me) in my area which is southeast PA and/or northern Delaware (generally the Philly area). I am going to reach out to my off-line buddies, but most of us are gearheads who do all our own work and generally don't pay an outside appraiser to evaluate either our own projects/purchases or potential purchases. So, I figured I would ask here to see if anyone can recommend a name or two to contact once more specifics are known.

Obviously, if he gets back to me and it is a 1st gen, I will send him Jerry M's contact info. Right now I am looking for oher names, either generalists or make specific is fine.

TIA!
E

Just an update to help filter out the enormous response to my request... :)

The vehicle in question is a 68 GTO convertible. I know nothing about verifying a GOAT, anyone have any ideas??

you can use the vin to access the Pontiac Historical Service - they keep a list of all the Pontiac vin's and what options the car has. Easiest way to verify what it is.

He appreaised my 69 SS last year along with my friends 57. Very good rep and price is fair.

Best of Luck.

If it eats the paper off a tin can, it's a GOAT.
