guy has a set of 15x7's fronts and 15x8's rears with 4" back space. the came off a 1969 camaro. wondering if these would fit my 1980 camaro and ride good and not stick out the fenders.

They should work. I believe the factory backspace was 4.25". With the lower (less) backspace it will be pulled in towards the wheel well. This is depending on what size tires you plan on running........??

You'll have much more room on a 2nd gen than on a 1st gen. You shouldn't have any problems.
