I am working on the area between the rear window and the rear speaker deck. If you take the two screws out of each of the "L" shaped corner pieces should you be able to just pull them out along with the piece that runs under the rear window or should I just tape everything and paint it in place. I would rather take it out to paint depending on how hairy it gets.

After removing the two screws in each corner piece they can be removed but the middle piece is part of the shell and does not come out. I just finished painting mine in place. Just make sure your paint makes it all the way to the bottom by the glass. After spraying mine, I had to touch up the hard to get to places with a brush.

Remove the crs ans paint separate...this advoids 'masking' lines when spraying in place
