I bought a spectra premium fuel injection tank for my '68 camaro that has a TPI setup. It is a very nice looking setup. My question is, should I need to install a inline filter or will the sock on the end of the pump be good enough?

Definitely install an inline filter. The sock on the pump blocks the "big stuff" but you need a fine filter.
I've seen lots of filters used - I bought this Mallory in my '68 Camaro with '95 LT1:

but lots will work. Make sure it can take the pressure. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Looks like that filter would work perfect.

Get one of the corvette filters with a built in regulator. Take care of both needs with one part.

Dont get an LS1 Vette filter, it will regulate it at 58 PSI, and I believe TPI runs at 43.

I used a reusable screen type and just regulated through the stock regulator.
