Im kinda in a bind where I could use some extra money to purchase other stuff I really do not need but would not mind having ... if that makes any sense.. lol

Well I have an extra 4spd Muncie sitting in my garage that a friend of mine has been asking me to sell to him. I know Muncie as GREAT trannys and dont hate me but I ended up taking out the muncie and put a saginaw in its place. ONLY because I got the saginaw dirt cheap and the muncie needed rebuilding.

So my question is .. whats it worth , 68 4sp muncie. #'s 3884685.. and the other side reads 3925660, cant find any other numbers that states if its an m-20, 21, or 22

What's the VIN and suffix code? Look HERE (http://www.camaros.org/images/pages/decoding/trans_muncie_code.jpg) for info on where to find it.

An M22 is worth a lot more than an M20 or an M21, so you need to find that out. How many rings on the input shaft?

No rings = M22
One ring = M21
Two rings = M20

An M20 or M21 needing a rebuild would be worth around $200.00, maybe less depending on how bad it is. An M22 needing a rebuild would be worth around $500.00. Again though, it all depends on what it needs.

I would sell him the Saginaw for enough to rebuild the Muncie.

Sometimes input shafts are changed out. Dont go solely by that. Open up the side cover and count the gears if you want to be sure.
