Hi everybody, I recently sold my '74 Nova project in favor of finally finding something closer to my dream car- 1st gen f-body. I've been really happy with the support at Novas.net, and am hopeful that I will find the same over here. I do not have a Camaro, I actually have a 1969 droptop Firebird. I am not having much luck finding a decent forum for early firebirds, so I am hoping you all will accept a cousin! I'll be posting some pics as soon as I figure out where to get them hosted!

You'll find our lil place is very similar to novas.net, just a lot bigger. Probably many of the same people, too. We get plenty of "birdmen" over here, too. Body and chassiswise very similar of course.

Only pontiac forum I know is something like performanceyears.com ?? Don't know if they're all gto's though.

Thanks for that, Jim! here is a link to some of my pictures I took the day I picked up the car. It is currently stripped to bare metal(mostly) and getting ready for paint. The color that was on it was 4 layers thick! Luckily, paint that thick has mostly protected the sheet metal. The car was a 350 originally, currently has a 400 pontiac in it. I will probably continue building the 406 intended for my nova just for ease of building my driver, and store the poncho power plant in my shed for a later build.
