I can't get the trim that runs from the pillar post to behind the sail panels to consistently stay up. I will think I have it and then it will start slumping down.

Are these repro pieces ? Just curious, as I was thinkin about gettin some. My originals fit nice and tight but come out a bit short:(

Guess you could add another layer of material for a tighter fit or maybe a few spots weatherstrip adhesive...

edit; little confused when you say "behind the sail panels"....are we talkin about the headliner molding above the door/ 1/4 window ? If so, it "pinches" the headliner and sail panel material....correct ?

Gently scuff the drip rail with some 200 grit (just the part the trim covers) this will enable the pieces to stay in place on fresh paint. To slide the pieces on better spray a small coat of TRI FLO on the back inside channels of the trim pieces or bees wax works great also. Both will not harm your paint.
