The wire that runs along the top of the left valve cover that goes the the coolent sencer has a heat insulation on it. That heat insulation is falling apart and I can't find anything to replace it.
I am sure the old insulation was made with asbestos and not around anymore. Is there anything out there I could use on that wire to insulate it from the heat.

Yes. You buy that insulator by the foot. Go to the ground up site, they have it there.

If it is what I think you are talking about it is not asbestos.
