i just picked up a 92 Z and it has a few options that make it interesting. one is it has the big spoiler on the back. it has the heritage package but the RPO sheet is missing. it also has a 145mph speedometer. what else should i look for? is there any place i can get a replacement RPO sheet?

Service paarts indentification sheet should be in the lock box at the left rear, It might be possible to find the options on that car by running the vin at the dealer. With 145 MPH speedo sounds like that might be a B4C car, does it have four wheel disc and dual cat exhaust?

Not sure on the exhuast but it does have 4 wheel disc brakes. I pick the car up on friday and i need to check for an aluminum driveshaft as well. I know the car is pretty much stock and i got a great deal on it. Its artic white with the red stripes as well.

91 and 92 Z28's all had the tall rear spoiler, that was a standard. The 145 mph speedo was normal too. Post up some pictures when you get it!

JasonNever knew that. I've only seen one around here with the tall spoiler. Just went back to the White Book to verify your story and found out B4C was RS only, Z would have been 1LE. 1LE (with A/C) includes G92 performance axle, 4 wheel disc, dual converter exhaust and engine oil cooler.According to the White Book when ordered with out A/C it added HD frt brakes, aluminum driveshaft and spare wheel, special shocks and fuel pick up and gas tank baffle. Only made 478 91's and 705 92's. Awesome ride if that's what it turns out to be. Only 3645 cars built with rear disc so not too shabby even if not 1LE.

Ok just picked up the car and the 1LE package is not listed, but it does have the G80, G92, N10, L98, KC4 and a bunch of other codes that make it pretty unique. I will post a pic tomorrow

that is one of the "good" ones
the Heritage package was on a LOT of the cars in 92, someone was smart to pick the performance axle ratio (G92) and that gave you the dual cats
