Anyone know the cfm of the 1969 Rochester 2bbl 7029114 unit that was good numbered for 1969 Camaro/Chevy II/ Chevelle 350 250 or 255hp?? I don't have it in front of me, but it is for sale and seller is claiming it to be one of the Larger 2bbl carbs. I have the 3916313 Canadian cast iron intake that would have come with the above carb.. Stock car racers say the intake is one of the best of the cast iron variety.. There has to be a listing of 2bbl /4bbl Rochesters in regards to their cfm capabilities at wide open throttles?? I have never come across one. Maybe one of you guys have??
Thanks!

I found this info in a post at hotrodders.com. These ratings are at 3"hg drop.

1 3/16 venturi, 352 cfm
1 1/4 venturi, 381 cfm
1 5/16 venturi, 423 cfm
1 3/8 venturi, 435 cfm

I only know what I read, but since the internet never lies:
The lower-performance 327/210hp, 307/200, and 350/250 engines received the Rochester "Dualjet" (2GV) two-barrel carburetor. Rated at 500 CFM, this larger carburetor was necessary for the larger displacements of the small V8 engines. It too gave ample power, while achieving good gas mileage.
There were actually two versions of the 2GV. The SAE 1-1/4" bore version was used on Camaros 327 and 307 engines. It can be easily identified by the fuel line inlet being located on the side of the carburetor. The larger SAE 1-1/2" bore version was used on 69 Camaros with the L65 350 engine. The fuel line inlet is located on the front of the installed carburetor. (http://www.camaros.org/carb.shtml)

According to the above, the 7029114 carb was used on the 250hp 350ci engine w/ automatic, w/o A/C

Or, according to these guys:
http://victorylibrary.com/mopar/log-c.htm

Table 3: Rochester Model “2G” 2 Bbl. Data

Type Throttle Venturi Flow @ 3” Hg Flow @ 1.5” Hg
Small **1-7/16” **1-3/32” 278 CFM 197 CFM
**1-5/32" 311 CFM 220 CFM

Large **1-11/16” **1-3/16” 352 CFM 249 CFM
**1-1/4” 381 CFM 269 CFM
**1-5/16” 423 CFM 299 CFM
**1-3/8” 435 CFM 308 CFM

Note that 2-bbl carbs typically have advertised flow specs at 3" Hg, wheras 4-bbl carbs are typically advertised at 1.5" Hg.
So even the "big" 435cfm 2-bbl is only equivalent to a 308 cfm 4-bbl (if you believe the numbers above)
