67 Camaro

I installed a new wiring harness. Everything works except the front running lights and front turn signals.

I am getting 12 volts in the plug on the parking light side where the bulb goes in and getting a variable volt reading in the socket where the signal side of the plug when the signal switch is on. I am getting 12 volts on all the ground wiring connections to the front signal housing.

The rear signals work fine and the inside light signal works fine until I put the bulbs in the front signal sockets. The rear signals work fine in the tail light assembly but both turn signal lights on the inside of the car blink at the same time. The only other odd thing is the right rear signal flashes flasher that the left signal.

My book tells me I need 1034A bulbs in the front but I though I read that the 1157 replaced that bulb.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Mine did this. What it turned out to be is bad ground.Ok the outer housing has a riveted ground strap because it is mounted in the plastic grill right? It will have a good ground if you are checking the aluminum part of the housing.Mine had formed corrosion between the brass inner socket that is pressed into the aluminum.I twisted the inner brass socket inside of the housing until it grounded well. The brass part is where the bulb actually touches. It then grounds to the aluminum, and ground strap.
