hI Glad to be a member, I have a question looking for some information on a car I just purchased from Barrett Jackson Auction West Palm, the lot number of the car is 675.1. 2001 Chevy Camero ZL1 Prototype. The car was orginally black. Then painted Garnett Red for GM Rep., The next rep didn't like red so then painted Lemans Blue with black and white houendstooth. anyone with info please post, thank you!

A company called GMMG produced the 2002 ZL1, you can read about it here. http://gmmginc.net/programs/ZL1/

Your 2001 may be a prototype for the production version they released using 2002 models... There are several members here that should be able to provide more info.

That car is the Zl1 Camaro built by Jon Moss. Matt Murphy (GMMG) indeed did build some "ZL1" Camaros, ...but they are not directly related.
