I was going to connect my volt guage up in the console and I think I broke it. I hooked it to a 12v wire and I think it was supposed to have a resistor in it. It pegged the needle then went back to zero now it won't work. :mad:What can I do to fix it? thanks

Buy a new one. The 69 battery gauge is not a volt meter, or an amp meter but a millivolt meter designed to show the charge rate or discharge rate of the battery thru the main battery lead between the positive post of the battery and the main power teminal on the horn relay. It is a +/- .5V gauge. Hooking it between 12V and ground will destroy it. Search on "millivolt" or ammeter lots of stuff on how the gauge works.

Thanks Mark. That sounds pretty complicated to me.
