Hey Guys,

I'm trying to get an idea on what a 71 camaro sport coupe born with a 6cly might be worth. I got an idea but would like to get some other feedback. I haven't personally seen this car yet and have no pics but would like to get a general ballpark. Here is what I have been told about the car.

Body, paint, and interrior are in great condition with no rust. (again I haven't seen it yet but may try to go tonight) Color is Black ext, black int.
No motor or transmission.

Thanks, Joe

If its just a roller you need to figure out if it is a true roller just needing an engine and trans or if there other items needed, which would make it a project car in mind and cheaper. It all depends on the shape of the body but I wouldn't pay more than 1-2K unless it is a truly incredible body that requires nothing other than a drive train. Since it's a 6 cyl car it wouldn't be worth restoring it as such, so I would assume you are looking to hot rod it or clone it.

Another thing that will determine price is if it is a RS body or not. That will increase the value if it is since an RS front tends to be more desirable.

Thx for the reply.. He was asking $1,500 for it which I thought was a good price but its all a mute point now. The owner has decided not to sell the car for whatever reason.

Yea, Mike drove an hour with cash in hand... When he got there the guy told him he decided not to sell it now... Guess it will get relisted in a week or two for 4 or 5K.
Body was in decent shape but did need a repaint and trunk pan. Interrior was in great shape.
