I purchased a set of GM performance parts aluminum valve covers that do not have the fittings/holes for OIL filler and PVC valve. Where is a good place to pick up the fittings? Any advise on putting them in would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Jeff

I pick up the fittings from the local auto parts store in the "Help" parts section. They usually have both the oem and aftermarket type PCV fitiings and an Oil Plug fitting.
Drill the correct size hole for the fitting and use a small Rat-Tail file to remove any burrs or rough spots so the fittings go in smoothly.
Not a hard job - just go slow - measure twice, drill once. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Jeff, I bought a uni-bit that went up to 1 1/2" and used that. I drilled a 1 1/8" hole in the covers positioned so they will both be towards the front. I'm using the Moroso baffled grommets. Although many say they go into a 1 1/4" hole, measure for your self so they aren't too big. For example, the K&N breather filters need a 1 1/4" size hole. Mine are snug but I don't want leaks. A regular pcv grommet may be smaller.
