Last time I filled the differential I spilled a lot of oil trying to fit the bottle up into position etc. I made this to fill it with a soda bottle, the cap from the lube bottle, hose and a basketball fill nozzle.
Cut the gear lube cap so the hose is a tight fit and slide the hose so it reaches to the bottom of the bottle. poke a hole in the cap for the fill nozzle, fill the bottle with fluid, place the open end of the hose in the differential and slowly and add low air pressure and the fluid will be pushed up into the differential. Be careful and do not use too much pressure, the bottle can explode and not only make a mess but hurt you as well. I did use the soda bottle because it can hold more pressure than say just the gear lube bottle.
If I knew the exact amount needed to fill the differential I could have used a 2 liter bottle and added that amount and filled it with one shot.
