Hi guys, another new guy ta bug ya.
I don't really have a cool f-body but I got one so I figured I'd join. I've got a 1990 Firebird Formula, it's got a 305tbi, 700r4, 2.73 open diff. Nothin special but it'll beet off a ricer (a stereotypical one anyway). I just bought her and I've got some work to do before she's drive-able (legal anyway). Right now I'm changing the rear diff oil and doing the rear brakes. Tryin ta get my rh drum off, rusted to the axle shaft. It's got someother problems, mostly electrical.

I've been a member of Team Nova for a while. I've got a 1974 Nova I'm workin on. It's got a 350 q-jet, th350 trans. I'll get some pics on here soon.
Anyway, just sayin hi:waving:

Welcome from the Beach, Alex. Fellow Iowan here from Marshalltown.
Spray some PB Blaster onto the joint between the drum and axle.
You also might reach in with a small screwdriver to push out the self-adjuster and loosen the adjuster to shrink the shoes from the drum.

Welcome Alex.

We have a 1990 Formula as well--rare year as they only made 'em for 6 months that year.
