Would it be better to spend the money and just buy a 350 or save money and stroke a 305?

I am extremely happy with the results, for the price.. At this point I have 339.7 horsepower & 378.1 lb-ft Torque at 5000 RPM.. I only had 50K miles on the engine, but as stated so many times before there was very little power.. I added almost 200 HP & 120 lb-ft of torque for under $1500.. For me I felt this was the way to go, but most others will say otherwise.. racer x May 27th, 01, 01:08 PM tree-fitty!! 92 RS May 28th, 01, 06:51 AM Hey 83 TA what exactly did you put on your 305 to get that much horsepower and for that amount of money? Just T-Z-N May 28th, 01, 01:21 PM I've got a 87 IROC 305 tpi. And I'm swaping in a 383 tpi. Hopefully after the wiring nightmare is over. It will run and I'll get the 450 hp I'm hopeing for. I say 350/383. Marky_24 May 28th, 01, 07:58 PM i say stroke the 305 thats what i want to do this summer!!
