I'm finishing up the top end of my 327; added 268 cam, rpm manifold, Q-jet 4bbl, headers, 3.42 rear and am wondering if I should install the stock thermostat which is 190 degrees or should I get a 180 degree one, what is everyone's opinion/experience here.

Unless you are in a real cold climate or have AC run a 180, get the Robert Shaw (Mr Gasket) stat even though it's $12 and the Stant and Gates are $2-$5, it's well worth it...
