I've owned my car for 20 years and it has a functional cowl hood. Since its mini tubbed and caged I don't care about it having original parts. I want to shave some weight and want to get rid of the entire cowl hood set up.

I have no idea if this car originally came with it or not. The owner I bought it from purchased it in 1983 and it was on there then. I've got the hood, air cleaner, extension ring, wiring harness, relay, solenoid, flapper and throttle arm with the switch mount. I assume all throttle arms did not come with the switch mount? The only part I did not find was the throttle switch. I've got it but not sure where I put it. :o

What is it worth?

Thanks

With that cut on the pass side, and the ridge on the bottom of the base, it was not factory. I can't see the breather tube, but I'll bet it has two 45* angles on it. Repop ones are like yours, but I don't know when they started reproducing them. Over the counter GM ones were like yours, too, so maybe they are GM pieces. If they are all GM, I'd guess they are worth $800. If they are all reproduction, I'd guess $300.

Thanks. I knew the air cleaner was not original but probably a GM over the counter part.

Do all throttle arms have the switch mount for cowl induction?

No, just the ones for Cowl Induction.
