I certainly don't mean to promote anything as I have absolutely no venture or interest in what I am about to share but I thought I would pass this to the members as I think many of us could benefit a bunch. There is a new concept starting around Denver. It's a concept of gym membership but instead of using a gym and its treadmills you get to use a shop and all of its tools! Anything from metal working, wood working, welding, machine shop, rapid prototyping, laser engraver/cutter, printing, vinyl cutting, etc. They have all kinds of tools including autobays and lifts. They offer all kinds of classes like welding, CNC machining, lathe operation, engine rebuild, etc. I just got back from a MIG welding class this morning and signed up for TIG welding tomorrow. The owner and the guys are super cool and friendly. The prices are reasonable considering the tool/equipment you get access to. BTW, paint booth potentially coming soon. So it's like a gym but instead of having to deal with a bunch of meat-heads you get to deal with a bunch of gear-heads. They are located close to downtown. Not sure if am allowed to post a link so I won't. If you are interested, please PM me and I will get you the info. If I get an OK from the camaros.net administrators, I will gladly post the link here. BTW, my first project over there will be welding on my subframe connectors.

You think you'll have your car ready for the show on June 20th? Just curious.

Shawn,
I think so. I got it all put back together. Waiting for the wheels which should be here end of the week. Will need a week or so after that to get everything dialed in but it's looking good. Unless something major comes up I am planning on the show...

It's not your company and you're not selling anything, so I don't see anything wrong with posting the link. Always good to share good experiences with a company, and places that help the hobby.

Wish there was something like that in Washington State. I have a LOT to learn...
