I put in all my new heater box seals on my 68, and the ones for the ducts to the dash i can't get right. They fall into the ducts when i try to bolt the ducts up. the only way i can see to do this would be to glue them to the dash then put the ducts up to them! Before i do this i thought i would ask you guys. There were no seals there when i started this, so i have nothing to go by.
thanks mark

The seals get glued to the duct :)

Mark;
Can't you glue the seals to the y-duct like Kevin mentioned. I'm pretty sure that's how i put mine in. I'm just ahead of you in this area. Have the y-duct in, but heater box, column, etc. are still out. Just did my floors and Dynamat is next... Good luck!

Tony i have to go with you on this one! There isn't enough lip area on the front of the duct to hold the seal. Also that y-duct was no walk in the park to get in without breaking it. That plastic can get old and brittle and those bad boys aren't cheap! That duct is in there now and i am not taking it back out. I need to keep moving forward, i don't want to back up, summer is here now:yes:

Follow up: a little spray glue, seal to the dash, fit properly around the hole,let dry, bolt up duct- done! Time to move on to the next area:hurray:
this is for anyone else in the future that may need to know!
