hi everyone i am new at this computer thing. I do have a problem with the gen. light staying on when car is running. It is a 1969 pace car replica with a 383 stroker ground up resto. Can anyone help me thanks joe

Not sure that you have the same problem as me, but my light was staying on in my '67 last year. I took out the alternator and brought it to this old guy in town who repairs alternators and generators. He tested it, and replaced a diode, charged me $5 and it's worked fine ever since. That could be all it is. I would have it tested at a shop. Good luck.
